PSI CHI CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP

Merit Based Scholarship

We aim to increase and retain the number of high school students graduating and entering college to sustain growth and improvement and positively contribute to society. Psi Chi Chapter is committed to scholarship, as it is one of our four cardinal principles. Each year, we award scholarships to approved graduates.

Scholarship Timeline

Early Spring 2025:  Interested applicants can begin to complete and submit the Psi Chi chapter scholarship application from this page when the application is open.  Because it is an online application, late applications cannot be accepted.  Recipients will be announced in May 2025. 

Eligibility

  • High School Senior graduating from a Marion County (Florida) school
  • Plans to enroll in a degree program of a full-accredited institution may apply
  • 2.9 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 4.0 
  • Documentation of community/volunteer service and Extracurricular activities
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • ACT and/or SAT scores
  • Written Essay (Minimum of 200 words)
  • College Acceptance Letter
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
